I'm so glad Passover is over - matzo out, cookies in!

And other things...let's see. Well the NFL draft was this weekend. Normally I don't care about the NFL or any NFL-related things but this year quite a few Michigan Wolverines were drafted so I paid attention. And it was pretty exciting that Jake Long was the #1 overall pick. And that he and our QB Chad Henne will be on the same team is also fun. Of course it's the worst team in the NFL, but I guess the idea is that they'll make it better. Go Blue! Uh, I mean, Dolphins.

Oh and the Detroit Red Wings are in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Yay. And up 2-0 vs the Colorado Avalanche. So I'm feeling pretty good about that.

In other Michigan Football news, one of our players transferred to Ohio State. What is that about? It's mind-boggling. I'll be honest and say that I'd never even heard of him until he transferred, but that's neither here nor there. The mind-bogglingness remains. It appears he left because of issues with our new coach, which is troubling. I've been missing Lloyd Carr and unexcited about Rich Rodriguez but I was trying to get excited about him and the new era but now I'm feeling unexcited and missing Lloyd Carr again. I don't like change.

Wow I sound like I'm a crazy sportsasaurus. I'm really not. I just love the Red Wings and Michigan Football. And cookies!

It's raining here in Brooklyn. That sort of sounded like a Counting Crows song. Except that it's not Baltimore, it's Brooklyn. So much better! No offense, Baltimore.
